Adenoid cystic carcinoma
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (AdCC) is a slow growing, aggressive salivary gland neoplasm.
It is reported to be the second most common malignant salivary gland tumor after Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC). However, there are also reports which say AdCC is the 5th most common malignant salivary gland tumor.

Periapical abscess also called "dento-alveolar abscess" is a pyogenic infection of the periapical region. It is a sequel of pulpitis and develops as a result of infection seeping from the pulp into the periapex.
