Osteomyelitis refers to the inflammation of the medullary portion or the marrow space of the bone. Osteomyelitis being derived from Greek words – “osteon” (bone) and muelinos (marrow) is an inflammatory process of the medullary cavity of the bone.
I am from the Netherlands, and here, this condition is very rarely seen.
I am almost 100% positive my partner has the chronic form of Osteomyelitis of the jaw, he has been sick for 6 years and all symptoms check out, but not one surgeon has even examined this possibility yet.
I would really like to share the story with an actual dentist/maxillary surgeon and get either information or confirmation if this disease would be a possibility in his case.
I have been looking to speak to a surgeon outside of hospital hours for years, because during the appointments we get there is never enough time, and they just send my partner home again.
They just.. don't believe in it?
Please inbox me and hear my story to let me know what you think, it would change our lives that have been like hell for 6+ years.
